In 2024, Compass Asia was launched with the vision that Rachel had after serving in the field full-time for 25 years. She recognized the lack of direct support for global workers in the field and aimed to provide comprehensive member care services directly to global workers and their families operating in Asia and its neighboring regions.

Nestled in Southeast Asia, all of us here at Compass Asia are committed to cultivating a nurturing community and providing comprehensive services: Emotional and spiritual support, coaching, retreats, and more. We aim to deliver exceptional member care and support to Global Workers and mission families throughout Asia and its neighboring regions. Through strategic collaboration with sending agencies and member care organizations, we strive to empower you while fostering a supportive community, ensuring you receive the utmost care and support you need as you fulfill your critical roles in Asia and beyond.

Executive Director, Member Care Specialist

With over 25 years of experience in the foreign mission field, Rachel Chand brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to her role as the Executive Director of Compass Asia and as a Member Care Specialist. Having pioneered an indigenous mission and worked extensively in cross-cultural settings, Rachel deeply values the importance of quality member care services for missionaries and their families. Rachel's personal journey of healing from abuse and trauma has equipped her with unique insights and empathy, enabling her to effectively walk alongside individuals navigating a variety of complex issues. With qualifications in Biblical Counseling and as a Certified Christian Trauma Care Provider, along with a deep grounding in God's Word, Rachel is committed to supporting missionaries in their spiritual, emotional, and relational well-being.
